Despite how basic it may sound, the stand also has unique abilities, for example, putting enemies in a fossilized state, stunning them for a long time. It has the abilities any dinosaur would have - utilizing its claws as its main weapon, accompanying its tail. Due to all the buffs the dinosaur version provides to the user, you are unable to use any fighting-style moves when in full (dinosaur) form. In general, the humanoid version is better for applying pressure onto enemies, and the dinosaur version is better for damage output, defense and mobility. One is the humanoid version, the other is the dinosaur version. Scary Monsters is the first (and only at the moment) stand to have two different forms. However, not all of these upgrades are needed for the stand to be versatile and worth using in combat. Its skill tree takes a lot of points, (71 points to max everything) and has a lot of upgrades. By default, it has a low destructive power. Scary Monsters is very powerful, and versatile. The stand has a 1/5, or in other words, 20% chance to be obtained from a Rib Cage Of the Saint's Corpse, with Worthiness 5 (to have a "guaranteed" use), of course. Scary Monsters is the dinosaur-like stand of Diego Brando from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run.
